COMPUTERS
Computers, like other electronic equipment, are taken apart and recycled. The plastic is ground up, the boards are removed and broken down. Monitor tubes, like picture tubes in a television do have some hazardous materials inside. These are crushed in an EPA approved grinder and recycled through EPA approved outlets.

ELECTRONICS
We handle virtually all types of electronic equipment. Transformers are removed and sold as scrap. Batteries and hazardous elements such as mercury switches are sealed up in a metal drums and recycled through EPA approved specialists. Some parts contain precious metals such as gold. these are taken to a melting operation, melted down and separated into pure metal. The circuit boards themselves are incinerated and the remnants are sold as slag to a mining companies who view it as rich ore.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS
All telephone equipment is evaluated and broken down. The plastic parts are sent through the hammer mill and pulverized into tiny pellets witch are recycled into things such as toys. Internal circuitry is ground up and sold as scrap. All batteries are recycled through specialized EPA approved agencies.

We are - Environmentally Sound
We believe in protecting the environment. And we also understand the bottom line needs of today's business and industry. Disposing of used, obsolete or surplus equipment can be costly. Government regulations and red tape have made it nearly impossible for companies to dispose of the waste.

BPAI LLC can take the monkey off your back while saving you time and money. We'll buy your surplus by the truckload and dispose of it properly, following all necessary guidelines and maintaining all the necessary paperwork.

BPAI LLC is constantly monitoring the fast changing secondary markets, we maximize your return on assets by selling at current market prices for a quick turnover. This accelerates the disposal processes, thus benefiting through sale proceeds as well as saving of storage and labor expenses.

Why you can't just throw it away? Because electronic devices contain hazardous and toxic substances that pose serious risks to both our environment and our health. For example, heavy metals can leach into landfill soil and then into our underground water supply, causing severe and even life-threatening illnesses.

Your business could be held liable if your electronics are improperly destroyed! Federal and state hazardous-waste regulations make businesses responsible for handling the disposal of their used, end-of-life electronics. In many states it is now illegal to "dump" TVs, monitors, batteries and many other electronic devices into landfills.
